2021 Festival Update!2020 was a difficult year for all of us due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The entire Mantua Potato Festival committee was deeply upset when we decided to make the difficult choice to cancel last years festival due to state restrictions. However, we are happy to announce that the Mantua Potato Festival WILL be re-opened this year (2021)! Keep an eye out for additional updates and news related to this years festival on this website as well as our social media platforms!
A Festival for the Community by the Community
The Mantua Potato Festival is a non-profit organization. The festival was originally founded in 1938 but was then discontinued during World War II. However, the Potato Festival was then re-established in 1973. For over 45 years, members of the community have come together to bring the village this fun filled event for all ages.
